My family and I went on a trip to Colorado. We stayed in Breckenridge, which is a ski town and we did zero skiing! It was a quaint little town and a home base to site see the beauty high up in the mountains. Breckenridge's highest elevation is 12998, and has a history deep in the gold rush of the 1800s. Some of the old mining equipment is still left up on the mountain tops. We visited several mountains and also hiked to the top of a couple...there are no words (or pictures) to describe the vastness and majesty of the Rocky Mountains.
