Shortly after I started in photography 12 years ago, my very first project/collection was of bicycles in the city of Chicago. It's been on my bucket list to photograph action sports involving bikes. Fast forward all these years later I got an amazing opportunity thanks to Josh Mund (@themundlife on Instagram) He invited me to the Royal Rumble 2022 a MTB Slopestyle event at Camp Royal where riders of all ages (amateur and professional) would be riding and competing in events. The higher and the more complex tricks (style is a factor) win the prizes and titles. The Camp Royal staff and riders could not have been nicer, what an amazing community!
